Q-Park : St Enoch
Contractor : McLaughlin & Harvey
Location : St Enoch, Glasgow
We carried out various elements of secondary steelwork at the St Enoch Q Park in Glasgow.
The galvanized crash barriers were fabricated using mild steel and incorporated a mesh in-filled balustrade.
We designed, fabricated and installed a variety of other mild steel galvanized balustrades using box section posts, mesh in-fills, flat bar in-fills and box section top rails. Structural Steel support was incorporated into the balustrades to make them suitable for use in the car park.
Stainless Steel Handrails
Stainless steel handrails were fabricated using our own in-house CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) Mandrill Steel Bending machine. Using this process avoids having to weld joints and elbows resulting in perfectly formed and unblemished bends.
We also designed, fabricated and erected mild steel security screens to the stair cores. Mild steel perforated plate was punched in-house using our own hi-tech machinery and then finished with a polyester powder coating.
We also fabricated the car park entrance signage, which was constructed using aluminium 5-bar plate on galvanized structural steel supports.
